July in 1945, the Canton State Bank has been proud of being a family owned
bank for over 60 years
First established by a group of local community investors, the Canton State
Bank continues to this day to provide local hometown banking service while
offering big bank products. Throughout the years, the Canton State Bank has
enjoyed family ownership who have continued to support the Canton community.
Purchased by the Jerome Bushman family in 1989, the Canton State Bank has
continued its solid growth through the dedication of its staff and customers
to the Canton area. The Bushman family also own and operate a sister bank,
First Southeast Bank in nearby Harmony, Minnesota.
